Team Handicap

How your team handicap is calculated

Team Handicap = 35% of the lower-handicap player's handicap + 15% of the higher-handicap player's handicap

In Week 1, teams enter an estimated golf course handicap. The first three weeks are played in the 9-hole Best Ball format, and the original handicap is adjusted after each week — the same way a Golf Canada handicap is adjusted. Team handicaps are then re-adjusted after every Best Ball tournament. TrackMan's handicap system is used to help maintain accurate and fair player handicaps throughout the season, and the final team handicap may be rounded according to TrackMan's system or JH Sports Center's league rules.

8 × 35%

Lower-handicap player contributes 2.8

20 × 15%

Higher-handicap player contributes 3.0

= 5.8
